DNA to protein synthesis
In Spanish, the processes involved in DNA to protein synthesis are referred to as:
Replication: Replicación – This is the process by which DNA is duplicated.
Transcription: Transcripción – This is the process where DNA is transcribed into mRNA, which carries the genetic information from the nucleus to the ribosomes.
For the entire process leading to protein formation, we often refer to síntesis de proteínas (protein synthesis), which includes replicación (replication), transcripción (transcription), and traducción (translation).
