Video Stabilization Tutorial: A Step-by-Step Guide to Using Shotcut
Shotcut does have a video stabilization feature.
Here's how to stabilize a video using Shotcut:
1. Download and install Shotcut on your computer if you haven't already.
2. Open Shotcut.
3. Click the "Open File" button to import the video you want to stabilize.
4. Drag the imported video clip to the timeline at the bottom of the Shotcut interface.
5. Click on the video clip in the timeline to select it.
6. Go to the "Filters" tab in the "Properties" panel on the left side of the screen.
7. Click the "+" button to add a filter.
8. In the "Add Video Filter" window, type "Stabilize" into the search box.
9. Select the "Stabilize" filter from the list, and then click "Add."
10. Adjust the settings for the stabilization filter as needed. You can control the Smooth factor and Maximum scale factor to fine-tune the stabilization.
11. Preview the stabilized video by clicking the "Play" button in the preview window.
12. If you're satisfied with the result, click "Close" to exit the filter settings.
13. Export the stabilized video by clicking the "Export" button at the top of the interface and choosing your export settings.
