A Bank Deposits Your Time Not Money
Time is very important. Your time has a value as money possesses. Time cannot buy anything but money can buy anything. Time & 💰 money overall both are important & have a big role in life. We have to secure both for a good life. Now, we know very well how and where to deposit our 💰 money but many of us we don't know how and where to deposit this valuable assets of our life which we have named Time. I know very well that you will say this is a crazy 🤣 question. Don't you tell? You will say we have to deposit this assets (time) with our family. Of course, family is overall at top to everything & we have spent our time on them to receive love & care. But, many of us tell that they don't have time, even spending few hours with their own family. These are very busy people for 24 hours and 7 days. Do you think they are so busy person? I think they are engaged in business so much that they forget to do good management of time & it is not that they are so busy person. Of course, you have to take less responsibility or know to distribute your responsibility with others. At personal level, I learnt from working last 20 years day & night, time of our life has a value and a precious asset of our life. We must not loose it. I know many pressures we receive from professional & social lives, and, sometimes, due to this, we avoid value of our time. A time has gone, that gone, it will never come back in your life. Therefore, we have to think very carefully & seriously about this assets and deposit & use them properly.
Maybe it seems you that I give a very good 😊 lecture. But I love to express myself and share my feelings openly on an issue. I know very well sometimes people take my opinions in other manner but now I am used to with dramatic situations which people create and those are far from reality.
I don't know I have ever talked in an article about a bank which deposit your time, not your money 🤑 and you can use it also. We call this bank "Time Bank". In Spanish it is "Banco de Tiempo". I heard many times positive opinions from people regarding this bank. Therefore, I took decision to become member after having many months the name "Time Bank" "Banco de Tiempo" in my mind. Even a friend recommended me to use it for social cause & learning. I am interested to learn app development for mobile 📱 phone. I attended one 4 hours course for free dedicated to mobile app development. Then, I used Google to learn. Even, I succeed to create one very simple app & install in my mobile phone but my interest is to transfer it on Google App platform. All these need support of a technical expertiese.
I did a request by email, but a staff of the bank answered me & invite me to visit her office for an interview, so that they can know I am a real person & why I am interested to become member. She will take this opportunity of interview to explain me whole project of Bank of Time. Good 👍, I visited the staff one day & got registered in database of Bank of Time. Now they send me every Monday & Thrusday a list of demands & offers of members. As a member you can do a demand or you can offer your skills to support other member. Of course, you use your time with your skill (offer) to help a member for an activity (demand).
Suppose, someone wants to receive your 1 hour to learn a recipe which you prepare very well (a class of learning recipe), therefore, on executing this class of recipe learning, your 1 or 2 hours will be deposited on your name in the Bank of Time. Now when you accept an offer to learn or get a support from a technical skill of any member, that deposited 1 hour will be deducted from your account in the Bank of Time. It's really to appreciate the developers of this idea & project. Now it becomes a global brand because branch offices of this bank you can find in many countries including UK, Japan, Latin America. They organize many activities with people engagements.
My perception is that many people live alone in this modern society & they want to engage with others for spending few good moments & hours with learning something new, and this program provide them a good opportunity to achieve this target 🎯.
Well, after few months of membership, in a summer, I recieve a notification that the office of the Banco de Tiempo of our city Valladolid is organizing a conference & a lunch. I took decision to participate in the event to understand about whole project & to meet with members. I was happy to see that the members & staffs of branch offices of many Spanish provinces were present in the event, even one pair was visiting from Japan 🗾. These Japanese staff was recording everything on camera, even they recorded several interviews. They recorded an interview with me also. Enjoy my interview. I remember that I received an email from Bank of Time on my birthday 🎂🎉 informing that they would add one hour in my account to celebrate 🥳🎉 my birthday 🎂 & today I used my one hour time to teach, specially speaking in English, a member who failed 3 times (total 3 years) in exams for English Language Certification. On talk 🦜 it was clear that this student is competing for a certificate which is far from access. It is better to compete for low level certification & proceed towards higher levels performing, gradually, enough practice & gaining skills to write & speak in a language which one has chosen for learning & certificates.
