What does mean by bounce rate in Google Analytics
Quiet interesting question for you if you are involved in blogging, website management or online business because you do visit Google Analytics and you see a series of data available but you donot understand many of them. Bounce rate is also one of them. We always think 80% bounce rate means 80% of total visitors do not visit your blog although google or other search engines have presented it to visitors i.e. impresion.
Nevertheless, according to Google Analytics, the bounce rate referes to the percentage of visitors that see only one page during a visit to your site. So donot get upset if you see 80% bounce rate.
80% bounce rate means 80% of total visitors leave your website after viewing only one page. They did not visit another page of your website.
Now the question is Why? Because they did not find what they are looking for. This suggests to make the service providing type website i.e. to provide information or problem solver or anything which is able to retain the visitos for a long period on your website. You find certainly the bounce rate starts to decrease.
