Is Maari 2 hit or flop film?

I watched Rowdy Hero (Maari) movie dubbed in Hindi few days ago. I liked the movie. I gave the good rating and recommended it.

Few days ago I have seen on youtube that there is another movie with title Maari 2. 

Maari 2 is a sequel to the film Maari. Moreover, I have decided to watch it without watching trailers and reading the critic reviews.

Hindi dubbed version of Maari 2 movie is available on youtube. Original Maari 2 is made in tamil language. 

Maari 2 is released in 2018. The director is Balaji Mohan and the producer is Dhanush. 

The leading actor of Maari 2 film is Dhanush himself and actress is Sai Pallavi. 

Dhanush is popular actor and many bollywood film lovers know his name but Sai Pallavi is new name for me and may be for many bollywood film lovers.   

Now the question is if the Maari 2 is a hit film or Maari 2 is s flop film. Did I waste my 2 hours and 30 minutes in watching to Maari 2? What do you think? Write in comment section please. 

The story continues the first film Maari. Same thing is shown in Maari 2: Action and Comedy. 

Nevertherless the story is very poor. For first 30-45 minutes, the Maari 2 is able to generate interest to watch it more but later on it looses in generating interest. 

The main issue is too many villains in the Maari 2 movie. The story writter tries to show connections among them but in doing it he fails to maintain the interests of viewers.  

Dhanush plays the role of the funny don in Maari 2 as he has performed in Maari. 

Many supporting actors are same and playing same roles in Maari 2 as they have performed in Maari. Their performances are good. I donot complain except for one i.e. Sai Pallavi. 

Sai Pallavi appears on screen several times for giving a funny touch to Maari 2 film. 

But I can say that she fails in giving a funny touch to Maari 2 movie. 

I do not say Sai Pallavi is not a good actress. Sai Pallavi is good actress. The Maari 2 film shows that she has done hard work for funny performance but she fails in sending an impact on audience. Do you agree with me? You can comment on it. 

I can say that the role of the Kajal Aggarwal in Maari is short but she succeeds impacting to the minds and hearts of the audience. 

Do I recommend this movie? If I have been invited to watch Maari 2 film again, I would prefer to watch Maari, not to sequel to the film Maari. 

I donot remember the rating that I have given to Maari 2 film. For knowing my rating to Maari 2 movie, you have to watch my review video in Hindi.
