How to retain the visitors on my blog?
A new starter in blogging is always looking answer for these questions.
Even I was looking answers for these questions.
But we have to plan and perform experiments for generating answers.
I hope you have read my previous post where I talked about how I brought few visitors to my blog.
Constant writting and posting everyday on the blog brings visitors to blog.
Article should be original.
Copy and paste does not help to bring visitors.
Readers always look for original content. This is experimented and I have data to prove it.
Now the question is how to retain the visitors on the blog.
Because I have seen that visitors come from different countries to my blog but they donot spend time on my blog.
What is the reason? Am I writting wrong? or the structure of the written content is wrong?
I give my attention on few big blogger's posts.
They have written the blog in simple english words. Any reader can understand very easily what they have written in a blog post.
Then? What is the difference? Why do they get more visitors?
The reason is the structure of written content.
They have organized the written content in the small fragmented paragraph.
This supports to find the informations quickly which a reader is looking for.
I notice that my blog posts are written in the paragraphs of 10-20 lines.
I read the first line and decide immediatly if I have to read further. But the information which I am looking for it is written in fifth line.
Since it is not fragmented in small paragraphs of 2-3 lines, my eyes donot read to fifth line.
I can say the fifth line is lost from the reach of my eyes.
Today I start an experiment to write my articles fragmented in small paragraphs of 3-4 lines.
